In my opinion Harry Brown was a sucessfull thiller has it steered awat from the typical thiller Structure, It features an Old Man switch from Protaginist to a Antognist, normally the typical progaanist would of been a female or some one of an older age, but the film seems to revolve around the fact Harry Brown is not yoyur typical old age pensioner which enages the reader.

(Pre Production) Mommins Thriller analysis on Law Abiding Citizen

Antagonist:

.The antagonist in this film started off as a protagonist because he was an innocent man and for no reasons what so ever his family was murdered.

.He became an antagonist as he took the law in his own hand and started murdered the people that were involved in the case of his wife and daughter being murdered such as the judge. The reason for this was because the man that murdered the antagonist family got away lightly.

.The antagonist in this film as I described started off as a protagonist because of his family being murdered and from there you could see that he was very emotional and sad and you felt sorry for him but you still felt sorry for him when he turned into an antagonist.

.The antagonist in the film is very clever and witty which is reason the he got away with the murdered he committed for a long time. The antagonist is an engineer and a great thinker which is reason why he got away and done the murdered that he did even though he was in jail where he wanted to be.

.The antagonist role in this film is not a typical as you feel sorry when he was a protagonist but also when he turned into an antagonist because of revenge as you slightly understand why he did what he did.

Protagonist

.The protagonist in this film is the police who was the main responsible for the handling of the murder case for the antagonist.

.The protagonist in this film is also clever and witty as the antagonist as he boasts a 96% conviction but he was most of the one step behind the antagonist in the film.

.The protagonist role in this film is also not typical as you wouldn’t feel sorry for him because he could have done a lot more for the man that murdered the antagonist family but he didn’t want to damage his near perfect record.

Conventions:

.There is a lot of close-ups in the film to show the characters reaction of the events that have taken place.

.There is a number of conventions such as red hearing when the police are trying to catch the antagonist but have mislead because they think someone is helping the antagonist from the outside.

. Also there are a lot of twists in this film such as the judge being murdered when a phone blows when she takes her call.

. Also another convention that is used in this film is

.Another convention that is used in the film is hinting at things to come and the camerawork is the main code that is used for this such when the police were common for the antagonist.
